Africa:
beyond cheaters and looters
There are probably many people in Europe and elsewhere who keep receiving messages, mainly from previous state rulers and state officers or signed with the name of state rulers and officers.
The request is always to provide cover for the transferral of huge sums of money into safe accounts, accompanied by the promise of sharing the gains.
This looks like ill-gotten money (or just invented sums of money) that should have never reached those people in the first place (not even as an hoped for eventuality). It shows, once again, how detrimental to development is any financial aid once is put in the hand of the state because it is mainly used to repress and corrupt people.
Africa does not need these or similar cheaters and looters that have stayed in power for too long with the assistance of Western powers and have brought moral and material disasters.
The rise of Africa is possible only if Africans are capable of going beyond cheaters and looters and are willing to take the future into their own hands.Here are the messages arrived so far.
